1 cup cooking Sherry
1/2 cup cooking (salad) oil
1 large onion, minced
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. mustard (prepared or dry)
1 tbsp. mixed herbs (such as rosemary,oregano, thyme, or marjoram)
1/2 tsp. coarse black pepper
1 tsp. garlic salt

Measure all ingredients into a large jar. Shake well to blend.
Makes enough for a 2 1/2 lb. chicken.
